I am not superstitous or anything but whats with the number 13? Some hotels skips the number 13 and go to 14 especially in japan, and FRIDAY THE 13th? BWAHAHAH I never had any trouble during those days, if the number 13 is really a bad number, wouldnt every kid in the world gets bad luck when they turn 13? does anyone know who made up this 13 crap?

13 is one of my casino numbers. I actually find it is quite a lucky number!
I guess it happened a long time ago when people thought witches were real. some people thought that the #13 acually means that a witch would come.
Idk im just guessing.
I have no idea ! I don’t get it either ! But I’ll tell you one thing- if I ever have a hotel, it’s definately going to have a 13th floor ! Oh have you seen 1408? If not, the relevance is that 1+4+0+8=13 !
Christian superstition.
13, counting Jesus and his apostles. The “13th”, Judas, was the “unlucky” one. 12, on the other hand, is a number with considerable historic import in Judaic tradition and scripture.
Friday – was the day that Jesus was killed, so, therefore, must be unlucky.
Likewise 13th floors. *Most* highrises skip the 13th floor. Too many superstitious people, also scared of elevators, would refuse to sleep there, live there or even to shop there,

i don’t know about the origin, but i thought japanese people believed that the number 4 was unlucky. not 13.
A Christian superstition. But it’s also a prime, and prime numbers can really do your head in. Beware prime numbers – A prime is only wholly divisable by itself and one! I’ve warned you. Beware!
Well, there’s Jesus and the 12 disciples. 12+1=13.
Friday the 13th became synonymous with bad luck when the Knightâs Templar, fell to a much weaker French army on a Friday the 13th. The only way people could explain their defeat was that the day had to be unlucky.
