i brought my American straightener to the UK last year, equipped with both an adapter and converter, and not only did it blow out the power for my entire hotel floor when i plugged it in, it busted my $100 straightener so that it wouldn’t even work when i came back home.
i want to bring my straightener with me to Japan, but was hoping i wouldn’t have to deal with finding a reliable adapter/converter and the possibility of breaking my new just-as-expensive straightener. By any miracle is JApan’s voltage and plug the same as the U.S.? Thanks!
I want to go to Tokyo for 6 nights. The reason is that I may want to move their for my job. Right now I have a choice between Sacremento, US, Mumbai, India and Tokyo,Japan. I’ve been to Sacremento and Mumbai. I would like to experience how it would be to live in Tokyo, preferably at the heart of the city. Maybe I can stay with you?

Me and a friend are planning a trip to Japan for late October of this year. for $3024 expedia offers roundtrip flight and hotel.is that a good deal. were staying for a week. second how much spending money to bring

in a few months I’m going on a trip to japan, and I need to know how much money I need to take with me.
It’s a group trip with our church, and this money i need is striclty for meto spend…hotel, airfare and most meals are taken care of. (my parents will be there so i dont really have to worry about food unless im just out with my friends)
here’s the info.
The trip is going to be 7-10 days long
we’re staying in tokyo.
So the grand total of dollars i wanna take in spending money needs to include the money im getting transferred to yen before I go, and the money I’m going to want for the airports (food, shopping etc) for our layovers here in the states.
I was thinking around 400 dollars…a friend told me the more money i take the better time i’ll have and I want to be able to buy some cool things while I’m there, and inflation is pretty high.
What is the MINIMUM amount I should take?
And if you’ve got any other advice of just things I should know traveling internationally, you’re more than welcome to share.
Thanks!
I am looking to go to college next year, I have always wished I could have gone to college when I finished high school, but the situation at the time didn’t allow for it, now, 14 years later, I am in a position where I can persue that dream, I’ve often wished that I could experience life outside of the USA as well, and have always been amazed by Japanese culture, so with the tried and true, kill 2 birds with one stone method, I’m going to do my best to attend TUJ, I’ve never lived in a ‘big’ city before, only the burbs, I know enough Japanese now, thru self study to get myself in trouble, and am learning more every day. First semester from what I have read will have to be in the dorm, the bigger of the two is apparently a converted hotel. After the first semester, I can then live elsewhere, should I? any information about the experience would be great. Thanks in advance!
i come from malaysia where i can get the cheaper traveling at japan like packages huv include hotel, transport, breakfast….
a mother goes to hotel room and meets man for purpose of having baby in Belgium. After eating many mylantas and the man agrees only in his country Japan so they make deal he does not pay child support only on the weekends.
This woman is from USA.
1> Pres. Clinton lies to a grand jury about his relationship with an intern.
2>Pres. Nixon authorizes a break in at the Democratic HQ at the Watergate Hotel.
3>(this is alleged although with pretty good proof)
F.D.R. has intelligence that Japan may attack Pearl Harbor and he allows it to happen, thereby drawing the U.S. into WWII
4>Pres. Reagen has “no recollection” about a dozen times while testifying in front of Congress about the arms for drugs Iran-Contra scandal.
Wow Buttercup, really? 2,400 people died at Pearl Harbor. Nixon broke federal law. Reagan most certainly broke federal law.
Why was Clinton in front of a grand jury to begin with? The ultimate partisan power-play in modern times?
